The APX Program provides athletes with a comprehensive training approach that goes beyond the weight room. Their year-round program is specifically designed for each athlete's position, ensuring they develop the skills and strength they need to succeed. This dynamic training emphasizes not just building muscle, but also developing the central nervous system (CNS) and energy systems that are essential for peak athletic performance. By incorporating spinal cord training and rotational movements, APX helps athletes achieve better symmetry and power throughout their bodies. Proper nutrition is also a key component of the APX program. Their registered sports dietitians design personalized meal plans to optimize each athlete's performance and recovery. While training is important, APX recognizes that proper rest and recovery are essential for achieving optimal results. That's why they emphasize a holistic approach that considers all aspects of an athlete's life, not just what happens in the gym.

APX FOOTBALL

The APX Rotational Power Training Program helps baseball players of all levels, from high school to MLB, achieve peak performance. It focuses on position-specific movements and core strength to improve power, speed, agility, balance, and reaction time. This well-rounded approach ensures that players can move efficiently on the field, generating explosive power for hitting and throwing with precision. By improving balance and core strength, the program also enhances a player's ability to change direction quickly to make plays in the field and steal bases. Additionally, improved reaction time allows players to react faster to pitches, ground balls, and fly balls, giving them a competitive edge. The program also incorporates injury prevention strategies and nutritional guidance to optimize performance and recovery.

APX BASEBALL

APX' Off-Season Hockey Program
is renowned for achieving enhanced performance from dry-land to the ice. Every movement a Hockey athlete makes on the ice should correlate directly to the overall functional neuro-muscular hypertrophy received via their position-specific training protocols. At APX, it is our #1 goal to restructure, transform and re-align your body's symmetry throughout an emphasized Eccentric Uni-Lateral Training system. This is proven to evoke profound increases in strength, speed, power, agility, function, flexibility and anaerobic/aerobic energy systems used to promote fitness and VO2 max levels.

APX' Registered Sports Dietitians are the catalysts that mold our Hockey Athletes to attain improvements of Lean Body Mass (LBM) gains, decrease in Body Fat percentage and - most importantly - 'Recovery' efforts from training and skating. Improving performance on the ice knows no barriers of age, league, rank or country you play/come from. APX is the bridge from one level to the next on the ice.

APX HOCKEY

APX' Rotational Power Training Program
known for achieving enhanced performance - via the training facility to the diamond - from the High School to the Collegiate ranks. Position players, Pitchers and Hitters all have distinct movements that must be trained that constitute position-specific lever development and rotation. Since each one of these dynamic positions are different in movement, the training modalities and structures to enhance their respective abilities must be prescribed separately. At APX, it is paramount to focus on an athlete's training paradigm to increase symmetry throughout the body. Spinal cord training and Kinetic ground-base rotational movements are essential in achieving this by emphasizing an Eccentric-Based Uni-Lateral Training system.

This is proven to provide a Softball athlete with more power through rotation from the torso to the lower trunk. Additional velocity can be induced from the 'bat speed and 'the throwing motion' when a proper 4-12 week program is executed properly. Generic increases in rotational power, strength, speed, power, agility, function, flexibility and anaerobic/aerobic energy systems used to promote fitness and VO2 max levels. This decreases the chances of injury; specifically the arm in the elbow and shoulder attachments/joints as well as the rest of the body.

APX' Registered Sports Dietitians are the educators that mold our Softball Athletes to attain improvements of Lean Body Mass (LBM) gains, decrease in Body Fat percentage and - most importantly - 'Recovery' efforts from training, hitting and throwing. Decreasing inflammation of the specific joints used to throw and hit is of utmost importance for ball players looking to improve performance on a day-in and day-out basis.

APX VOLLEYBALL

Collegiate recruiters are now scouting at the 6th/7th grade levels. As the demand for building Volleyball athletes continues, APX has responded by facilitating a year-around Performance Enhancement program specific for a Volleyball athlete's physiological and psychological competitive development from Middle School-to-High School and to Collegiate levels.

ACL-MCL-PCL & Shoulder Girdle Injury Prevention work is priority #1 when it comes to female athletes. Daily prescription of this work is vital to the long term on-court success and healthy future for each Volleyball athlete.

Vertical Leap off the 3-4 step approach and zero-step net block are enhanced by building levers through connective functional tissues in neuromuscular hypertrophy stages. This, along with the building of elastic lean body-mass and torso/core strength and power, propels APX female athletes to a higher competitive rank.

NFL PRO-DAY/COMBINE

The Basketball Athlete Development Program at APX prioritizes a holistic approach to player development. Strength and conditioning are fundamental components, with a special emphasis on developing the posterior chain. By incorporating eccentric loading and unilateral exercises, we target key muscle groups like the calves, hamstrings, glutes, and back, enhancing power, stability, and injury prevention. Strong and flexible hips are the cornerstone of athletic performance. We focus on developing hip strength and flexibility to improve power, agility, and stability. Our Registered Sports Dietitians educate athletes on optimizing nutrition for lean muscle gain, fat loss, and recovery. By providing guidance on fueling their bodies effectively, we empower athletes to maximize their performance on and off the court.

APX BASKETBALL

Optimize CNS development and natural energy systems for all athletes. Implement a consistent 4-cycle program. Train position-specific movements, emphasizing lever development and rotation. Utilize eccentric-based unilateral training, spinal cord training, and kinetic ground-based rotational movements for symmetry. Improve power, speed, agility, and fitness. Minimize injury risk, especially to the spine. APX Registered Sports Dietitians optimize nutrition for lean body mass, reduced body fat, and enhanced recovery. Proper nutrition minimizes inflammation and maximizes performance. Remember, 80% of your success depends on daily habits outside of formal training.

APX Strength is a renowned training program designed to transform athletes of all ages into high-performing competitors. Our science-backed approach goes beyond traditional weightlifting to develop the functional movement skills that translate to success on the field. We don't use a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, our programs are tailored to the specific needs of each athlete, whether they're a young player just starting out or a seasoned competitor looking to take their game to the next level.

Functional training is at the core of everything we do at APX Strength. We know that weightlifting is important, but it's only one piece of the puzzle. Our programs focus on developing the full range of movement skills that athletes need to excel in their sport. This includes things like speed, agility, power, and balance. By training these skills in a functional way, we help athletes move more efficiently, reduce their risk of injury, and improve their overall performance.

We also recognize that nutrition is a critical component of athletic success. That's why we have a team of registered sports dietitians on staff who can help athletes create personalized meal plans that optimize their diet for performance and recovery. Eating the right foods can give athletes the energy they need to train hard and recover quickly. It can also help them to maintain a healthy weight and reduce inflammation.

APX Strength is more than just a training program. It's a comprehensive system that helps athletes reach their full potential. We provide the tools and support that athletes need to succeed on and off the field.
